BTST Academy Terms & Conditions

For All Courses & CPD training

I, the learner, understand and agree that by undertaking any BTST Academy course or training, I accept the following terms and conditions:

  • I must submit all course applications via an official enrolment form or through the official BTST Academy website.
  • I understand that all deposits paid at the time of booking to secure future course dates are non-refundable.
  • If I choose a payment plan or instalment option, I agree to follow the agreed payment schedule. I must pay all course fees in full no later than 7 days prior to the course. Failure to do so may result in removal from the course without refund.
  • Where possible, BTST Academy will send course materials before the course start date. If I am unavailable to receive the materials and fail to collect them from the local depot, I may incur an additional distribution fee. Delivery charges within the UK are included in the course price.
  • BTST Academy reserves the right to remove any student at any time if they fail to comply with standard practices, procedures, or the Student Code of Conduct. BTST Academy also reserves the right to refuse enrolments or suggest alternative arrangements if attendance is not in the best interest of the company, other participants, or the individual.
  • For courses requiring pre-requisite qualifications, I must provide proof by emailing copies of relevant certificates to hello@btstacademy.co.uk.
  • I understand that each course requires a minimum attendance rate of 80%. If I fail to meet this requirement, BTST Academy may remove me from the course. In this case, I may attend the next course at 50% of the cost. I am responsible for catching up on missed days. The tutor will provide missed work, but I must self-study and catch up with support from the tutor and other learners.
  • When attending course and assessment dates, I agree to follow the terms and conditions of the hired venues.
  • If I am unsuccessful on my first attempt at a theory paper or practical exam, I agree to pay re-sit fees of £65 per theory paper and £65 per practical observation.
  • If I require further attempts at theory exams or practical assessments and need additional learning, both parties will agree on this. Additional learning costs are:
    • Re-attending the course on the next available date: 50% of course price
    • Anatomy and Physiology revision session (up to 4 hours): £180
    • Practical assessment support session (up to 4 hours): £180
  • BTST Academy may occasionally need to change or cancel course and assessment dates, update course content, change venue locations, or alter prices. BTST Academy is not liable for any costs or losses incurred due to these changes. If a course is cancelled, I will receive alternative dates or a full refund.
  • BTST Academy understands that unforeseen circumstances may require changes to bookings. The academy will make every effort to accommodate changes, although delays in transferring to alternative courses may occur.
  • I must complete all courses within 1 year of the start date. If I transfer to another course, I must do so within this 1-year period. Failure to complete the course within 1 year will result in removal from the programme without refund.
  • Before starting the course, I must complete a health screening form and disclose all health concerns, including mental health and learning difficulties. Failure to disclose this information may affect eligibility for additional support such as extra time for assignments and exams.
  • BTST Academy may take photos and videos during the course to support learning and for social media use. By enrolling, I agree to this.

Transfers

Payments made towards a Sport massage course course maybe transferred onto another course or CPD if qualified to attend, if there are spaces on the new desired course and the transfer is made with at minimum of 3weeks notice. No Transfer will be offered within 4 weeks of the course start date. 

A maximum of 1x transfers can be made within a 12month period, after which all monies will be lost. 

If we have to change or cancel your booking

We do everything we can to provide the best learning experience we advertise in our marketing materials and on our website. But very occasionally we find we can no longer offer the course people have booked, or, in exceptional circumstances, find we need to cancel your booking. If this happens to you, we’ll advise you as soon as possible and offer one of the below options.

1. A replacement course that’s the same as the one you booked.

2. Or a full refund

Full Payment made at time of booking 

For courses with required online prior learning, full payment is required at the time of booking and is NON REFUNDABLE.
